The deployable side steps include bright-white LED’s, which look cool, but are actually very useful at night when stepping onto the relatively narrow black surface.

BRABUS Electric Side Steps (Long Version) for Mercedes G500 4×4²
BRABUS also makes a Long Version of the Electric Side Steps for the Mercedes G 500 4×4², which include the BRABUS Valve-Controlled Exhaust System. The sound of the BRABUS Exhaust can be controlled with the Up/Down Arrows on the left side of the steering wheel, and it is specifically designed to work with the Long Version of the Electric Side Steps.
If you rarely have rear seat passengers, then the Electric Side Steps above, which are the full width of the front doors, may suffice. However, if you want to make ingress and egress as easy as possible for all passengers, on a vehicle with 18 inches of ground clearance, then the Long Version of the BRABUS Electric Side Steps are the way to go!
