Mercedes G-class [W463] Lift Kits & Portal Kits
With the release of the Mercedes G 500 4×4², we have been flooded with inquiries for G-class Lift Kits to emulate the look and style of Mercedes’ new offering. While we can provide all of the G500 4×4² OEM parts (i.e., portals shocks, carbon fiber fender flares, etc) you need, it’s about a $100,000 conversion, so we have put together some other options for lifting your G-class G500, G55, G550, G63 AMG, or G65 AMG.
Portal Axle Kit – 100 mm Lift (for vehicles with less than 500 HP)
The Mercedes G 500 4×4² and G63 6×6 AMG use Portal Axles as part of their off-road setup. With these Portal Axles you will instantly lift your truck without any fabrication or permanent modification to the vehicle, and without any errors or codes! With 35″ tires, you will essentially be getting a 6″ lift compared to stock. The gears in the Portal ensure you don’t lose power and performance, as you would by adding larger tires with a lift kit.

Eibach/Bilstein 40 mm Shock & Spring Kit
The kit includes Eibach-made Springs and Bilstein shocks. The lift is about 40mm (or 1.60″) front and rear.
At this time, this (and the OME spring/shock kit below) is the best option we have for the majority of G-class owners looking for a more aggressive off-road look. Paired with wider fender flares and the right off-road wheel & tire package, you’ll get a 4×4²-esque appearance, without compromise.

DYNOCOMP 8″ LIFT KIT
To get the serious off-road look of the Mercedes G 500 4×4², DYNOCOMP’s 8″ Lift Kit is the most obvious choice. We can add wider fender flares, wheels, and all-terrain or mud-terrain tires to complete the G 500 4×4². If you have a G500, G55, or G550, we can add G63-style parts at the same time. For example, the front grille, brush guard, front bumper, mirrors, exhaust, ECU upgrade, and the 4×4²-style LED light bar (in carbon fiber) for the roof.
One important note about the DYNOCOMP kit, before we paint & install the aero components, wheels, tires, exhaust, and ECU upgrade, we have to ship the vehicle to Arizona for the installation. Parts are fabricated per year, make, model, and turn-time is about 8 weeks. Prices typically range from $20-25,000 for the complete kit installed. Please contact us to schedule installation.

30 MM Spring Spacer Kit
Specially designed and molded from a polyurethane elastomeric material in a multi cavity mold, the spacer will give a modest lift while reducing noise, vibrations and harmonics (NVH) levels. These Spring Spacers are vehicle specific made for the Mercedes-Benz W460, W461 & W463 Geländewagen.
Fabricated in thickness of 30mm, these spacers are easily installed under the existing springs by a trained mechanic. The modest lift of 30 mm does not require changes to the existing brake lines, ABS cable, shock absorbers and/or steering/alignment geometry.
