Mansory Puts Its Signature Spin on the Electric G-Wagon

Not even Mercedes-Benz’s all-electric G-Wagon is immune to the bold touch of Mansory. Known officially as the G 580 with EQ Technology, this fully electric luxury SUV now joins the tuner’s growing lineup of wild G-wagon transformations.
Revealed just over a year ago, the electric G 580 has already caught Mansory’s eye—and the result is just as extravagant as you’d expect. Taking the already imposing presence of the G-Wagon to another level, Mansory has outfitted the EV with an aggressive new body kit that includes a heavily modified front bumper, prominent chin spoiler, and additional LED daytime running lights. The stock grille has been swapped for one featuring a distinctive pattern and a centered Mansory badge, while the hood has been redesigned to match the muscular aesthetic.
Up top, the custom roof add-on now houses auxiliary lighting above the windshield, enhancing the SUV’s off-road readiness—or at least its appearance. The fenders have also been widened and styled with Mansory branding, complementing the revised side skirts and new carbon mirror caps. Around back, a multi-fin rear diffuser, extended bumper, extra taillights, and a roof-mounted wing add to the drama. You’ll also find fresh trim elements on the rear pillars and, of course, plenty of Mansory emblems throughout.
The entire vehicle sits on eye-catching 24-inch FC.5 wheels, finished in forged carbon—a theme repeated across various exterior components. The black paint is contrasted by blue brake calipers and side detailing. As for the interior, Mansory has yet to reveal if it’s been upgraded, but based on their reputation, a custom cabin could be in the works.
Underneath, the G 580 EQ retains its advanced underpinnings, including a ladder-frame chassis and a 116 kWh battery borrowed from the EQS. Power comes from four electric motors producing a combined 580 hp and 859 lb-ft of torque, enabling a 0–62 mph sprint in 4.7 seconds. Despite weighing over 6,800 lbs, it boasts a 292-mile WLTP range and real off-road chops that even surpass its gas-powered sibling, according to Mercedes.
This marks Mansory’s first take on the G 580 EQ—but likely not the last. Expect more flamboyant variations in the future. The only question is: does this electrified brute excite or overwhelm?
