WINCH ROPE WITH SOFT SHACKLE

The winch rope with spliced-on soft shackle works perfectly without metal parts such as a rope hook and thimble. This further reduces the weight of the rope, which – if the worst comes to the worst – considerably reduces the risk of injury from flying metal parts. Furthermore, damage to the vehicle and painted parts caused by handling the steel hook is prevented. Compliance with the pedestrian protection guidelines that are required of modern vehicles is made much easier by dispensing with sharp-edged hooks.

Made from high-tech “Vectran” material, the rope is largely protected from UV radiation thanks to the XTR coating and offers a linear failure load of 9,000 daN at a thickness of 9.4mm. Another plus point: With a rope length of 20 metres, this rope weighs just 2.4 kg. The red signal color simplifies fast work outside in nature or with poor visibility. Last but not least… The winch rope is “made in Germany”.
