Mansory Gronos 4×4²: A Limited Edition Beast Based on the AMG G 63 4×4 Squared

Mansory, the renowned German luxury car modification company, is at it again, pushing the boundaries of automotive customization. This time, they have set their sights on the already extreme Mercedes-AMG G 63 4×4 Squared, transforming it into something truly otherworldly.

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class, despite its vintage charm, continues to thrive in today’s automotive landscape. With recent releases like the G 63 Grand Edition and the G 500 Final Edition, it’s clear that this iconic off-roader remains in high demand. However, all the chatter lately has been about the “baby” G-Class, a rumor that quickly turned into reality when Mercedes’ CEO Ola Kallenius confirmed its development.

Furthermore, custom shops worldwide, whether it’s Germany’s Hofele-Design or America’s RDB LA, are working tirelessly to produce personalized and customized versions of the G 63. Inevitably, Mansory, known for its audacious creations, couldn’t resist the urge to join the party.

If you recall the Gronos product line from Mansory, you’ll be intrigued to learn that they’ve recently expanded this exclusive family with a limited-edition masterpiece based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Squared. Aptly named the Mansory Gronos 4×4², this version retains all the hallmark elements that may either delight or terrify G-Class purists, depending on their perspective towards Mansory’s unique creations.

Under the hood, the Gronos 4×4² receives a substantial power boost, elevating its output from 577 to a jaw-dropping 850 horsepower. Torque figures are equally impressive, reaching an astonishing 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft). To ensure it conquers any terrain with ease, it rides on new aftermarket wheels – Mansory’s FD.15 design, measuring 22 inches, and wrapped in special off-road tires sized 325/55R22.

Inside the cabin, the luxury and sophistication continue. The cockpit boasts a full leather treatment, featuring a distinctive start/stop switch on the roof. Additionally, it incorporates a unique rear single-seat system complete with a personalized rear center console.

As for the exterior, all the signature Gronos enhancements are on full display. From the wild aerodynamic kit to the attention-grabbing design alterations, this G 63 is built to stand out wherever it goes, rather than blend in on secluded 4×4 trails. Of course, carbon fiber components make their presence felt, further enhancing the vehicle’s aggressive aesthetics.

Determining the exact cost of this beast can be challenging, as each example is highly customized, resulting in a wide range of price points. However, it’s worth noting that the exterior finish combines a tasteful dark gray with exposed carbon fiber accents, achieving a relatively restrained appearance – considering we’re talking about a Mansory creation. Inside the cockpit, a vibrant combination of white and deep blue is complemented by additional carbon fiber accents.

Ultimately, whether you love or loathe the new Mansory Gronos 4×4², there’s no denying that it’s a spectacle to behold. As with any Mansory creation, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and it’s bound to leave a lasting impression on those who encounter it.
